Erytol is a good-tasting, zero-calorie bulk sweetener that is suitable for replacing sucrose by reducing calories.

Use directly and simply, when adding sucrose or instead of it.

It is useful for a variety of zero-calorie, low-calorie, low-fat, and sugar-free foods and beverages, from candy to yogurt.

It can also be used in recipes that include cooking, from cookies or cakes to fermented doughs, but keep in mind that the ability to absorb moisture from Erytol can affect negatively the texture of the preparation, especially over time.

To use as a substitute for brown sugar, replace a small part of the Erytol with molasses or muscovado to have the characteristic color and aroma of it.

Erytol is a polyol which is naturally present in different fruits (pears, peaches, grapes) and in fermentation processes. Erytol has a high tolerance to digestion, is non-glycemic (and therefore suitable for diabetics) and does not promote the development of caries. In addition to its individual use, it is used as a loading agent for stevia, so it has a lot of presence in the food industry. Compared to other polyols, erythritol has the best tolerance in digestion.
